Freshening Up

The astute observer may notice I've replaced the picture in the blog header. As much as I love that previous picture of Theo, I figured it was time to actually show a little booty, since it's in the name of the blog and all. I hope you like it.

In my quest to spruce up my header (I finally figured out the magical interwebs must have something better than MS Visio to add text to my photos...I am s-m-r-t), I found this neat website. It's the app that flickr uses to edit photos, and, as you can see, it works great! What a fun way to spruce up a photo!

PS: Does anyone else pronounce the word astute in their head "ass-toot"? Hehe. I'm mature, I know.

I know, right? They're always sooo soft after I give him a bath. He's not generally fond of you touching his paws though.

His sweet little face was adorable, but there's nothing like a corgi butt. It's a toss up.

Wow it has been a while since I've read your blog! I have a lot of catching up to do, especially since Theo is much bigger and still such a cute dog!
I did see your posts about the vomiting and diarrhea - Gonzo (my corgi) went through the same thing, he had two or three episodes. The yellow, foamy vomit, the watery diarrhea (but Gonzo's was projectile. Somehow, while he was locked in the bathroom, his poop was SPRAYED like a whole foot up the door. But the next episode, he only pooped in the bathtub! What a smart boy! lol) I never brought him to the vet. I did call them, and they told me over the phone to feed him chicken, rice, cooked mashed sweet potato, and yogurt for a few days until it went away. All of that worked, and I was able to go back to his normal food. But a few weeks later it happened again, so I went back to the special diet and decided to switch his dog food. I think I was still using Science Diet. We're now using Nature's Recipe and it's an "easy to digest" formula. Gonzo loves it, plus I mix in a little bit of yogurt in his food every day. No problems!
Anyway, I've got to catch up on your blog soon. I love your narration of everything!

nickelpest, poor Gonzo! I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a repeat offender. Hehe. Projectile diarrhea? Oh man! Yuck! I don't know what brought on either outburst in Theo, but he hasn't had a problem since. Sometimes kids just get sick I guess. :)
