It's my mission in life to get a picture (if not a video) of Theo stretching. When he's sleeping on his side (which is most of the time), and I wake him up for some reason or other, he stretches his stubby little legs straight out in front of himself, and then moves them slowly downward, until he relaxes them again. It's the cutest thing in the world and I must have proof of it!
Does anyone else's Corgi do this?
Update: I just got a picture of it! Though I don't consider myself quite triumphant yet. It was only a half stretch, and it came out blurry. Boo! I think I can do better...

Yup, Lucy does that every morning! She also does a cute growly noise when she does it. She stretches forward, and then stretches backwards... that will be my new mission too.. must photograph!
Hi, my puggy girl, Charlie does this too. She also does the cutest thing every morning, she sleeps on my pillow and when I get up she stretches forward and slides off the pillow so she ends up all streched out on her tummy on the bed. It is so cute!
Heehee, I do that too! Mommy says it's a cat stretch (even though I'm a corgi, not a kitty) :P

Ha ha, sounds like it's a corgi thing! Bryson does that too, and he does it throughout the day, whenever he comes out of a position he's been in for a long time, he stretches. I swear his neck can stretch to almost twice its length, like an accordion :D
Yeah, it's a corgi thing. Both of our corgis do it. Absolutely adorable!
Oh yay! I'm glad it's a Corgi thing. I'm sure all dogs do it, but it's so cute for Corgis because of their stubby little legs! I love it! It is very catlike, that's true. Hehe.
I don't know if all dogs do it or not, but Julo, you are SO right - those stubby little legs just make it so precious. :-)
