I know I've said it before, but Theo is just obsessed with playing fetch right now. When he's not chilling in the office after a nice session of ripping the fur out of his tribble (see all those brown bits behind him?)...
...or chilling on the new hardwood floors while Husband and I are cleaning up...
...he wants to play fetch...
...and more fetch...all the time fetch...
I could go on, but instead I'll just say that I may have a new favorite picture of Theo.

St. Patty's Day Feast

I can't believe how long it's taken me to blog about the food I made during
the week of St. Patty's Day! I made such good things that week and such
good...

How long did it take Theo to pick up the game of fetch? Gibson just does not get the point of it yet :)
It didn't take too long for him to get, but it took a long time for him to get so obsessed with it. I'd say we first tried teaching him when he was 2-3 months old and he didn't take to it at all. Then somewhere along to way at 4-5 months he picked it up and would occasionally play. 6-7 months he liked to play mostly with the tennis ball outside. Then come 8-9 months and he was all about fetch all the time. Inside, outside, wherever.
I think one thing that helped teach Theo was to make him sit (and watch me) before I would throw it. For some reason that made it more of a game to him.
That last photo is great. He looksl ike he's smiling.
Awww, Theo! You're too cute :)
He is adorable! Gotta love those short-legged dogs! (I have two)
