Ok, I know this isn't something that everyone wants to read about, but it's a milestone in my puppy's development, so here we go. Theo has been getting erections. Ewwwww! This is one of the reasons I was apprehensive about getting a male. I didn't want to have to deal with all his boy parts and boy issues. Hehe.
I was actually surprised it started happening so early, but I asked the vet about it, and he said it was totally normal. At first glance it looked like he was bleeding. I started to freak out for half a second before realizing what the blood-red out of the corner of my eye actually was. Haha!
My little puppy is becoming a dog! It's too soon!

Wah ha ha! Welcome to the world of boy (or men) dogs! I also freaked out when I saw Bryson's thingy for the first time! I had no idea it's so... red! I've only seen it twice (both times when he was really constipated), and that's quite enough. :) I think it happens less after they get neutered.
BTW, have you guys gone to a dog park yet? Hope to hear more about it!

I remember the first time I saw my best friend's dog's thingy... i think we were in middle school.. I agree.. it's SO RED!
It looks like it's bleeding, right? Yuck! The only other doggie hard on I've seen was Mouth's dog when he brought him over to play with Theo. That was disturbing...he's also un-neutered. Ugh.
I tried to go to the dog park yesterday! I left work early when it was still light out, and I was so excited I was finally going to be able to try it, but when I drove past it on my way home to pick up Theo I saw signs saying it was closed. Boo! They close it when it's really wet, but it didn't rain yesterday, so I have no idea why they closed it. I was so bummed! I'm just glad I drove home that way. I would have been pissed if I wrestled Theo into the car for nothing. lol.
